Rainy River Community College is seeking to fill a temporary, part-time MnSCU Academic Professional 1 – Interim Director of Housing position for on-site management and supervision of Rainy Hall.
Specific responsibilities to include coordination of residential life activities; implementing Student Code of Conduct and administering discipline and due process; supervising student employees; placement of all residents using StarRez; accurate recordkeeping of all residents; coordination of cleaning the facility; implementing safety procedures; and meeting the routine needs of students.
Associates of Arts.
Ability to manage and operate the college residential halls.

Ability to work with students and staff to creatively solve conflicts and positive resolutions.
Organizational, data collection, budget management and reporting skills.
Proficiency in Computer knowledge in Microsoft products and social media communication.
Interpersonal communication skills – oral and written.
Ability to plan and deliver innovative student life programming.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in the absence of supervision.
Experience in college residential housing.
Multilingual or multicultural background or experience working with underserved populations.
Knowledge of program evaluation methods or principles.
Management or supervision skills.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse populations.
