Borderland Community Orchestra will spread holiday cheer through music!
In their twentieth season, the orchestra, under the direction of Katherine Williams of Emo, Ontario, includes over 40 musicians from all across the district; International Falls, Littlefork, Fort Frances, Rainy River, Baudette and Williams. A former member now living in Thunder Bay will join the concert that features a wide variety of music that will appeal to all ages; from teens to seniors.
Selections will include Santa at the Symphony, Christmas at the Movies, Nutcracker Ballet Suite, LeRoy Anderson's Sleigh Ride, Christmas Eve in Sarajevo and Stille Nacht - a wonderful version of Silent Night featuring Dr. Eric Kopenda from International Falls on cello and Harvey Lein from Baudette on piano.
Families are encouraged to come and bring their children.
The concession stand will be open before and during intermission.
